BSL contributes to Christmas Ball at Bindaree Lodge
This week Boyne Smelters Limited (BSL) shared some Christmas Cheer with residents, families and staff at Boyne Island Bindaree Lodge Aged-Care Facility . The event was an elegant affair with a red carpet walk up to the Lorikeet Lounge where the annual celebration Christmas Ball saw residents dressed in their finery.
Spilling out onto the veranda and into a beautiful rose garden, guests were entertained by the Tannum Sands State School Choir, a local primary school ballet performance and traditional Christmas Carols at the grand piano.
BSL Operations Manager, Kevin Taylor said it was an honour and a pleasure to be able to support this special occasion. Boyne Smelters provided a welcome donation of $1000 towards some much needed equipment for the Lodge and residents were also gifted with a small memento and celebratory cake for the occasion.
Mr Taylor said it was really satisfying to know that we have such professional and efficient services looking after our aging community.
“It is a pleasure for us to provide a small contribution in appreciation of their services in the Boyne Tannum community. Bindaree Lodge Staff and Board members are to be congratulated on their commitment to providing a homely and caring environment for residents,” Mr Taylor said.
